Author
E. John Gesick, Jr., is an Instructor in the Department of History and
Geography at Texas Lutheran University where he teaches Texas and the
Borderlands and Native American Studies. He received his Bachelor of Arts
at Texas A&I University (Texas A&M University-Kingsville), and his
Master's
at Boston University. Mr. Gesick has written two books, contributed
essays
to The New Handbook of Texas, and has written a number of articles in
academic publications. He is Chairman of the Guadalupe County Historical
Commission and on the Board of Directors of The Heritage Museum in Seguin.
